Flying Circus takes the spectacular Line 7 Open Keelboat championship for 2006, a 5 race series, (GPH), with the worst race score discarded.
We got 3 out of 5 guns, got pipped for a 4th by a second and went from hero to zero then hero again in 5th race. We started dead last after a 45 deg wind shift 10 seconds before start. We had a great start on original lay planned. The course was a double sausage (ww/lw x 2) we crossed the line in fifth (I think) after some radical wind shifts finished 15th on handicap so used worst as drop race.
